Miss Susan is a very flirtatious little sweetheart. She likes to pose for the camera.I did it! I made my first ever puppet and I did it without a sewing machine! I probably could've done the whole thing in one night if I had had a sewing machine, but oh well. It was a fun and satisfying project and I hope to have many more puppets to play with soon enough.

I'm so glad you like puppets. I think there are several useful and delightful strains in the making of and manipulating of puppets. One, they have an aesthetic all their own. They can be very graphic or outlandish in a way that human actors or even story characters can't emulate. They can interact with their small audiences in real time, which is, of course, a real delight... Sets are also very doable.
